In satyayuga the only mantra was Omkaara. The same Omkaara is manifest in the mantra Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Hare Hare. Unless,one is brahmana, one cannot utter Omkaara. Therefore, in Kali Yuga because one is unfit to utter Omkaara the same result is got by chanting the Hare Krishna maha mantra. Simply by chanting the Hare Krishna mantra,one becomes free from the bondage of material existence and thus becomes eligible to return to Goloka Vrindavan. How lucky we are that we are regularly chanting this Hare Krishna mantra and achieving the supreme goal.
