Is it possible to attain the Goloka Vrindavan in this very lifetime?
In spite of their enjoying the material advantages, they can be liberated in this very life by practicing Kṛṣṇa consciousness by the simple method of chanting the holy names of the Lord—Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare / Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare – SB 3.22.35 Purport by Srila Prabhupada.
It is our duty to follow in the footsteps of Dhruva Mahārāja for he was very determined. We should also be determined to finish our duties in executing devotional service in this life; we should not wait for another life to finish our job – SB 4.8.73 Purport by Srila Prabhupada.
If one adheres to the regulative principles under the order of the spiritual master, he very easily achieves the ultimate goal of his life. A person who is addicted to the chanting of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra very easily gets the opportunity to serve the Supreme Personality of Godhead directly – CC Adi 7.73 Purport by Srila Prabhupada.
ādau śraddhā tataḥ sādhu saṅgo
First thing is that “I must get myself out of this material contamination.” That is called śraddhā. “In this very life I shall realize.” So this śraddhā, this belief and this determination, as you make more and more perfect, you make advance. You make advance. Not as official, not as makeshow, but really… ādau śraddhā tataḥ sādhu saṅgo Then, as you are determined, so your taste for associating with devotees… Just like we are now associating with Lord Krsna’s, Lord Caitanya’s, teaching. Indeed, Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī compiled his Hari-bhakti-vilāsa for the guidance of the Vaiṣṇavas. The Vaiṣṇavas, not caring for the lifeless activities of the priestly classes, take to full Kṛṣṇa consciousness and become perfect in this very life. That is described in the previous verse as paramahaṁsa-śaraṇam, taking shelter of the paramahaṁsa, the liberated soul, and becoming successful in this life – SB 4.29.56 Purport by Srila Prabhupada
Don’t wait for another life…
My Guru Maharaja, Sri Srimad Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Goswami Prabhupada, used to say that every one of his disciples could attain Vaikuṇṭhaloka in this life, without waiting for another life to execute devotional service. One simply has to become as serious and sincere as Dhruva Maharaja; then it is quite possible to attain Vaikuṇṭhaloka and go back home, back to Godhead, in one life – S4.12.43 Purport by Srila Prabhupada
In bhakti-yoga, one can understand, “Yes, now I am making progress.” This is the only yoga system by which one can quickly attain self-realization and liberation in this life. One doesn’t have to wait for another lifetime. – POP 7 Purport by Srila Prabhupada
Why take this risk? It is better to complete the process of Krishna consciousness in this life. It is very simple and not at all difficult. My Guru Mahārāja used to say that “Why should you wait for another life? Finish Kṛṣṇa consciousness business in this life.” In this life. Why you should set aside the business for another life? No. Tūrṇaṁ yateta anumṛtya pateta yāvat. This is the instruction of… Before the next death you should prepare yourself for death. Death is inevitable. You cannot avoid death. Prahlāda Mahārāja has begun with the words durlabhaṁ mānuṣaṁ janma—this life is very, very important, and after many, many births you have got it. So you should always remember that every moment of this life is so important. First of all you have to consider that we have got this human form of life after many, many hundreds and thousands, millions, 8,400,000. Whatever little life you have got, you can attain perfection.
